Antigua
Antigua, the
largest of the British Leeward Islands, is about 14 miles long and 11
miles wide. It is divide into 6 parishes; Saint George, Saint John,
Saint Mary, Saint Paul, Saint Peter and Saint Philip.Although not as
lush as St. Lucia or Grenada, the temperate weather and golden sands
make Antigua one of the most popular Caribbean destinations and it is an
excellent place for water-sports enthusiasts, and especially sailing.
Antigua's gently undulating dry interior is bordered by a much indented
coastline giving - it is claimed to have 365 beaches, one for every day
of the year.
